There are two distinct phases in the recruitment and selection process:

Recruitment refers to the process of creating a pool of viable candidates.

Selection refers to the process of determining, from that pool of candidates, who is best suited to the job.

But, before the recruitment/selection process is embarked on, a current position description (task information) and person specification (who can do the job) are required. This is the output of the process of Job Analysis.

I can support you through this process by:

  • Analysing job requirements
  • Creating an applicant pool
  • Specifying selection & performance criteria
  • Choosing assessments (psychometrics)
  • Selecting-in suitable candidates
  • Making the selection decision
  • Reviewing the process
